Dr. Jocelyn Soucy
Dr Jocelyn Soucy grew up in the Hampton area and received a Bachelor of Marine Biology with honours from the University of New Brunswick in 2004. She completed her Degree of Veterinary Medicine with honours at the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2008. She began her veterinary career in Regina, Saskatchewan at a busy small animal practice in the heart of the city. There she gained excellent knowledge and skills in both internal medicine and surgery, however she missed the beauty of her home province (tree and water!) and her family. She moved home to New Brunswick in 2017 and has been an associate veterinarian at Fairvale Animal Hospital since this time. A few years ago, Dr Soucy accepted the position of Medical Director and has enjoyed her role as director/mentor immensely.
Dr Soucy has always had a passion and love for animals. She has special interest in ultrasound and exotic animal medicine but enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine. She is honoured to work closely with pets and families, helping to ensure pets are living their healthiest lives so as to continue to provide joy and comfort to their families. Outside of her role as veterinarian, she is a mother of 2 and can be found carting her children around to various activities and social events! She enjoys spending time in nature and connecting with friends and family as often as her busy schedule allows.
